Wings of The Wharf!
Where to Find Tasty Chicken Wings at Wharf
A plate of chicken wings is perhaps the ultimate bar food. Wings are bite-sized, come in a variety of flavors, and can be cooked in many different ways including fried, broiled or smoked. No two recipes seem to be the same. At the DC Wharf, there are several wing options to consider, and deciding which is your favorite is a major challenge. Take on that challenge by using our guide to “Wings of the Wharf.” Below, you will see every place at the Wharf that offers wings, which range in price from $7 to $21 a plate.
Brighton is a reliable place for watching sports, and what goes great with sports? Yep, chicken wings! Brighton serves up traditional Buffalo-style covered in a butter and hot sauce, or Sweet Chili wings, with a side of celery and bleu cheese or ranch dipping sauces. $14
Fans of smoked meats will love Mi Vida’s “Alitas Adobadas.” These adobo-rubbed spicy chicken wings come with an avocado mousse dip. The wings are big and meaty and go down perfectly with a couple of Mi Vida’s margaritas! $13
In contention for the spiciest wings at the Wharf are Pearl Street Warehouse’s jerk chicken wings. These broiled wings have an even layer of spicy jerk sauce and come with a cool sour cream dip. They come out piping hot and are a substantial dish. Pearl’s wings are an occasional special, but we are hoping they make it onto the regular menu! $15
There are two Hawaiian-themed wing flavors to choose from at Tiki-TNT. One is a sweet & spicy, pineapple BBQ that comes with a flavorful dipping sauce. The other is a coconut jerk spice & lime. $7
Whiskey Charlie / Canopy by Hilton
Lost in the fancy cocktails and breathtaking views at Whiskey Charlie is the fact that there is also food at this rooftop hotspot. And of course chicken wings are on the menu. These are quality wings that come in three flavors: Mambo / spicy honey mustard / buffalo.
