Where to Brunch at The Wharf
If you are not brunching on the waterfront, are you really even brunching? Well, the Wharf right here in the District, has plenty of waterfront brunch options with views to spare, and you have your choice of several global cuisine options from Mexican, to Italian, Spanish, Irish, or American.
The Wharf is a fun and exciting place to meet friends and family. A word about transportation though. The Wharf is a busy place with limited parking. Brunch highlights: Del Mar’s brunch features a choice of two tapas and one postre (dessert) for $34. The list of tapas is substantial with about 20 options and includes:

Brunch highlights: La Vie has remarkable views of the Washington Channel and the Potomac River, already making it an ideal brunch venue. The brunch itself is a Mediterranean style buffet, the only brunch buffet at the Wharf, offering up a vast array of options.
Priced at $44, the buffet includes:
A beef and poultry carving station
An omelet bar
Crepes made to order

Moussaka
Lamb fideo
Duck carbonara.

Pearl Street Warehouse
Brunch Hours – Saturday and Sunday 9am – 2pm
Bruch highlights: Pearl Street Warehouse is the Wharf’s honky-tonk and isn’t scared to use its flat iron grill to help cure your hangover. The a la carte brunch includes some classic down home options including:
Biscuits and gravy
Breakfast sandwiches
Brunch tots (two eggs over easy, queso, bacon, over tater tots)
French toast
Pancakes
Officina
Brunch Hours – Saturday: 11:30-4:00pm; Sunday: 12:00pm – 4:00pm
Brunch highlights: Officina is the only Wharf restaurant that has an all you can drink option for sparkling wine and champagne options, so that’s a bonus. The brunch menu is a la carte and includes most of the traditional lunch and dinner antipasti, pasta, and panini options. The breakfast choices include:
Three egg omelette with field greens.
In Purgatorio – two sunny-side up eggs, spicy tomato sauce and grilled bread.
Officina Daily Frittata. Field Greens.
Come Voi – two eggs any style, roasted potatoes and grilled bread.
Kirwan’s at The Wharf
Brunch Hours – Saturday and Sunday: 11am – 3pm
Brunch highlights: Kirwan’s is an Irish pub and takes its weekend brunch service seriously. Of course they serve up a Full Irish Breakfast complete with eggs, rashers, Irish sausage, black pudding, white pudding, button mushrooms, baked beans, and toast. Really what more could you want? Well, there is more, including:
