Chopsmith Set To Open; The Grill Now Hiring at The Wharf

There are two great announcements this week for the DC Wharf restaurants! The first is that Chopsmith has announced its opening date and The Grill is now hiring for all hourly positions!

Chopsmith – OPENING MONDAY, JANUARY 20, 2020!

The owners of Toastique are opening Chopsmith, a fast-casual restaurant that will be opening on Monday, January 20. This will be a welcome addition to healthy options at The Wharf.  The restaurant, which will have limited indoor and outdoor seating will include salads, grain bowls and other healthy options made to order. There will be a grab-and-go area for soups and sandwiches.  Of special interest to Wharf residents, Chopsmith will have meals to take home such as pasta salads by the pound and ready to cook take home meals. And in true Wharf fashion, Chopsmith has applied for an alcohol license to sell beer and wine!  Hours: 10am – 10pm.

The Grill – NOW HIRING!

The Grill, Wharf, eatKNEAD Hospitality and Design, which owns and operates Mi Vida, announced this week that it is now hiring for all hourly positions for its forthcoming Wharf restaurant, The Grill. Open positions include servers, bartenders, bussers, runners, greeter and all kitchen positions including grill, prep and steward.  The jobs can be found at: THE GRILL HIRING

The Grill will be a contemporary, upscale, American bar and grill located adjacent to Market Pier.  It will seat up to 200, including an indoor/outdoor bar and patio facing the Washington Channel. The menu will focus on American Cuisine with Latin influences under the direction of Chef Roberto Santibanez (who is also executive chef at Mi Vida).
