Need Help with Thanksgiving Dinner? Wharf Restaurants Got You Covered!

Are you hosting Thanksgiving but can’t cook or are just too busy to prepare a full meal? Several Wharf restaurants have options, whether you want to fake it and let the experts do all the cooking, or not even bother with having to set the table, you can just make a reservation. Some pre-order deadlines are already past (Officina and Hanks) so get your act together and be ready for a dazzling Thanksgiving. 

Available Pick Up Options: 

Colada Shop – Pick up a Cuban-style Thanksgiving pie at Colada Shop. Two special selections are being offered: Pumpkin Dulce de Leche and Coffee Pecan. Pies must be pre-ordered by Friday, November 19!  Pie pick-ups can be made on November 23rd and 24th.

 

District Doughnut – Pre-order some delectable delights for Thanksgiving including a Thanksgiving Half Dozen Doughnuts (including Fall Funfetti, Pumpkin Glazed, Caramel Apple Pie donuts, and more) or Bake-At-Home Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls. Orders are available for delivery or pickup. Although District Doughnuts is closed on Thanksgiving, Chef Christine promises some special treats for Black Friday. 

Del Mar – Dine-in or take out with amazing Spanish influenced options.  For take-out, Del Mar has two options, one is a four course Thanksgiving dinner with a Spanish twist that includes a 25 pound turkey and pecan pie that serves 6-8.  The other is a Paella party pack that serves 4.  

Dine In Options:

Moon Rabbit: The buzzy, modern-Vietnamese restaurant by Chef Kevin Tien, will be serving up a soul-satisfying menu this Thanksgiving. Guests can indulge in a special duck dinner which includes dry aged Duck Breast with white pepper duck confit fried rice, Bing Bread with butter, a smashed cucumber salad and Chinese Long Bean with XO beurre monte. For dessert, enjoy a delicious Japanese sweet potato pie with Chantilly cream. The Thanksgiving duck dinner is available on Thursday, November 25 and serves 4 people for $250. Moon Rabbit’s regular menu will also be available.

Del Mar – Dine in options at Del Mar include indoor, outdoor, and igloos!  Del Mar will be open on Thanksgiving from 2:00pm to 8:00pm and will be serving its regular a la carte menu with the addition of Thanksgiving themed specials.  

 

La-VieLa Vie – The Mediterranean restaurant is offering an upscale Thanksgiving Dinner from 2pm-8pm on November 25th in their dining room overlooking the waterfront. The four-course menu features a range of entrees, including Brined Roasted Turkey, Truffle Bucatini, and Wild Mushroom Risotto. The prix fixe menu is $99 per person. Children 6 and under eat for free, ages 7-12 eat for $49.

 

The Grill – This Miami Beach themed steak house is a great option for Thanksgiving. Included on its special menu is grilled chestnut stuffed turkey roulade, smoked mushroom stuffing, orange cranberry sauce and gravy ($42). Plus, enjoy their special Hot Toddy ($13). 

 

 

City Cruises – A Thanksgiving Day dinner cruise?  Hell yeah! The cruise is from 1pm-3pm and departs from Pier 4 (580 Water St SW). Tickets are $60 per person. Included: 

  • Two-hour lunch cruise on the Potomac River

  • Delicious buffet with freshly prepared entrees, salads and desserts

  • Unlimited coffee, hot tea, iced tea and water

  • Spectacular views of the city skyline and local landmarks
