Cordial Relocation Sale Announced!

CordialCordial Fine Wine, Beer and Spirits will relocate from its current Wharf location at 35 Sutton Square to the space formerly occupied by Politics and Prose at 70 District Square. The move is expected to be completed in time for the Wharf’s Bloomaroo celebration on March 23. The last day of operation for the store will be this Sunday, February 11, 2024.

In the meantime, owner Chuck Waldmann will be hosting a “relocation sale” from Friday February 9 – Sunday February 11 featuring 25% off all wine, spirits and accessories, and 15% off beer to help reduce the current inventory. “We are hoping to see all our friends come for this special relocation sale and enjoy discounts on our fine wine, beer, and spirits, including the selection of small producer bourbons and highly rated wines,” said Waldmann.

The new location will dramatically expand Cordial’s offerings by doubling the sales floor space in addition to storage space, which the current location does not have. When the new location opens, Cordial will offer a significantly broader wine selection and double the current amount of craft spirits. The new space will include two refrigerators for more beer and chilled wine. The space will also accommodate two cash registers for quicker check out.

Aesthetically, the new space will feature museum quality pieces from the Philippines curated by Waldmann’s husband who is Filipino. The show pieces will integrate terroir – the essence of the place. Cordial’s regular wine tasting will continue once the new space is open and will feature a custom made tasting table.

Walmann is a long-time wine industry professional who has advised many of the largest retailers in the U.S. He took over Cordial at the Wharf in June 2019 and looks forward to continued success at the new location.
